About the Role Seso, Inc. is on the lookout for a rockstar H-2A/H-2B compliance attorney to join our super cool team! We need someone who can whip up creative and out-of-the-box solutions to support their H-2A/H-2B program. It's a fast-paced, performance-driven, customer-focused environment where you'll be collaborating and having a blast.

We really want someone who's positive, down-to-earth, and great at communicating. You'll need to be a pro at spotting problems and finding strategic solutions. Oh, and having high ethical standards and business smarts is a must!

The successful candidate will be a true expert in preparing complex H-2A/H-2B visa applications, giving clients advice on immigration regulations, and feeling totally comfortable outside their "comfort zone." Plus, you'll have a say in important business decisions and help drive growth and strategic goals. How awesome is that? Not only will you be bringing your legal wizardry to the table, but you'll also get to motivate and mentor a team of case managers. Responsibilities In-house Counsel:

  • Skillfully share complex concepts and priorities, both in real-time and through various communication channels, with customers who have either mastered the H-2A/H-2B process or are just starting out, making sure everyone feels at ease.
  • Apply your wealth of expertise to empower and uplift your team members, helping them grow and excel.
  • Get your paperwork groove on! Efficiently gather and organize all necessary documentation for H-2B applications, honoring those strict deadlines with a contagious spirit of enthusiasm.
  • Be the champion of flawless applications! Ensure that every H-2A/H-2B submission is error-free, containing all the essential information required to meet H-2A/H-2B regulations. Your attention to detail will leave everyone awestruck!
  • Become a master communicator! Step into the shoes of your clients as you liaise with State Workforce Agencies, Department of Labor, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Interacting with these agencies will be a breeze, thanks to your friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Shine in teamwork! Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external immigration attorneys on those challenging yet exciting complex cases. Together, you'll weave magic and achieve outstanding results.

H-2A/H-2B Program Coordinator:

  • Let the good times roll as you develop and keep a close eye on intake procedures, case acceptance policies, and caseload targets and limits for Seso's supercharged H-2A/H-2B program. Get ready to make things happen!
  • It's all about teamwork, baby! Coordinate with our awesome Case Managers, juggling and balancing workloads like a pro, and taking full ownership of the team's stellar performance.
  • When things get tricky, you're our go-to superhero! As the first point of escalation, you'll tackle challenging H-2A/H-2B issues with flair and finesse. Consider yourself the master of solutions!
  • Are you ready to step into the role of the ultimate coach? Get your pom-poms ready and join the Visa Operations team to share H-2A/H-2B best practices, ignite continuous improvement, and leave them feeling unstoppable.
  • Let's make learning a blast! Get creative and join us in designing and delivering H-2A/H-2B training sessions for our amazing internal and external stakeholders. Together, we'll infuse excitement and knowledge into every interaction.

  • Keep immigration data in tip-top shape: Make sure immigration data is up to date and accurate.
  • Audits and reviews to keep everyone on their toes: Periodic audits and reviews should be done to ensure that the immigration data is as secure and reliable
  • Reporting that's as entertaining as a magic show: Periodic reporting can be as exciting as watching a magician pull a rabbit out of a hat. So, make sure those reports are not only accurate and informative but also as engaging as the grand finale of a magic trick. Abracadabra!
  • Case files - as secret as a spy's mission: Maintain those case files like an international spy keeping their identity a secret. They should be accurate, complete, and confidential.

Skillset

  • A highly effective, practical lawyer with a record of value creation
  • Strong understanding of the H-2A/H-2B regulatory landscape
  • Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with professionalism, humor, grace and grit
  • Team player with highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Superior communications skills (presentation, written, & verbal) in order to communicate effectively and proactively with clients, team members, and the broader organization
  • Able to motivate and mentor a team of case managers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience using electronic case management software, such as FLAG and Clio
  • Ruthlessly organized with the ability to prioritize, delegate, multi-task, and execute with tight, strict deadlines
  • Ability to independently navigate complex and emotional situations in a professional manner

‍ $90,000-$135,000 We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your personal top of market. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job related skills and experience for accuracy. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location.
