Overview

Supports the entire Litigation Department by developing reports, protocols and tools to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our Staff Counsel and Panel Counsel firms. This role will also seek out, manage and implement opportunities to improve utilization of our current and future state case management software. This role requires a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values, and must uphold the standards of the AmTrust organization.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, refine and implement a monthly staff counsel operational reporting package that includes Excel, Power BI and Sisense for distribution to Senior and Executive leadership.
  • Identify, synthesize, and recommend actionable reporting insights to drive improvement within Litigation Management. – This is a fancy way of saying analyze right?
  • Design and prepare cadence reporting to support outside counsel panel management.
  • Conduct and provide insight regarding expansion of Staff Counsel staff and Offices.
  • Conduct Profitability Comparison Analysis on Staff vs External Counsel
  • Develop and support all leadership instituted reporting requirements of Staff Counsel Managing Attorneys and Counsel Management Unit .
  • Develop and support all reporting needs of Managing Attorneys including gathering requirements, producing/refining reports and revising reports as necessary.
  • Deliver executive level presentations with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support Counsel Management Unit with ad-hoc analytical requests.
  • Support Litigation Department-dedicated FP&A resources as required.
  • Coordinate with FP&A Operational Analytics team to identify/scope requirements for all data required to achieve necessary reporting goals.
  • Support Subpoena Response Group, Complex Litigation Unit, Hearing Representative Unit in all scheduled and ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis based on Senior Leadership business needs.
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience working with reporting tools such as Excel and SQL
  • Familiar with reporting tools such as PowerBI, Salesforce, etc
  • Ability to handle dynamic work environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional demeanor; ability to conduct business with Senior leadership
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Location Flexible: Remote – Northeast US preferred

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $140,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in our Maiden Lane, NYC office. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
