Ping Identity is seeking a Vice President, Associate General Counsel - a motivated attorney with at least 15 years of broad based and progressively responsible corporate legal and leadership experience, including in a B2B setting.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance and complex corporate transactions. This position will be a Vice President position with responsibility for global oversight of various legal matters involved in supporting our business, including administrative, regulatory and compliance issues, human resources, risk management, legal and commercial strategy, increasing organization and team efficiency, and handling a broad assortment of challenges on a day-to-day basis.  
You will work especially closely with the Chief Legal Officer and senior leaders across the business leading governance, transactional and organizational matters while helping drive business.

This position will work from either Ping Identity’s Denver headquarters, with the ability to be in a hybrid in-office and work from home model, or remote.  
You will:  
  • Develop and oversee a global compliance program to help manage risk and also support the needs of the business.  
  • Define the necessary level of awareness on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements across the organization.  
  • Provide sound legal advice and support to all areas of the business, including G&A functions.  
  • Play a key role in managing complex corporate transactions.  
  • Oversee outside counsel and achieve cost savings for the business.  
  • Be on cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.  
You have:  
  • At least 15 years of legal experience working on complex cross-border matters including M&A, financings and capital markets transactions.  
  • Experience in leadership roles at public or private companies at various stages of growth.  
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to think critically about issues, rather than applying a formulaic approach.  
  • Effective and confident communication ability—over email, on Zoom and in person, with strong interpersonal skills.  
  • Well-developed negotiation skills and tactics.  
  • Confidence to work independently but the judgment to escalate issues for guidance when needed.   
  • A strong work ethic, ability to work efficiently in a high pace, dynamic environment, unwavering ethics, and a positive attitude.  
  • An ability to learn quickly, and accountability to meet deadlines and prioritize projects.   
  • A J.D. degree from a top-tier law school or graduated in the top of your law school class and a license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.  
You have an advantage if:   
  • You have a strong mix of sophisticated law firm and in-house experience at a global company.  
  • You have successfully led global teams and are an advocate in addition to a manager.  
  • You have public company reporting and securities compliance expertise.  
  • You have prior experience working on commercial transactions, with SaaS, licensing, data privacy and/or IP experience as a premium.

Pay Range: $250,000 - $300,000 Salary + Bonus
