Our client, a litigation boutique based in Oakland, is seeking a 2-6 year associate to join their dynamic and growing team.

Details:

• 6-year-old, 17-attorney growing firm with amazing talent - federal prosecutors, public defenders, law professors, Big Law partners and associates, and in-house counsel.
• Interesting and meaningful work – the firm represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal cases that run the gamut from large technology companies to individuals in matters ranging from nationwide class actions to trade secret cases, to consumer arbitrations.
• Take ownership of cases - draft dispositive motions, coordinate with clients, take depositions, lead settlement negotiations, and deliver oral arguments.
• No jerks policy – self identified “law nerds” and a collegial and supportive culture.

• Salary 200-230K, depending on experience + annual bonus.

Requirements:

• JD and current licensed member of CA state bar
• 2-6 years of litigation experience that includes the courtroom and taking depositions
• Excellent writing skills
• Ambition to grow your career and be a part of a growing team
