JOB TITLE: Senior Deal Desk Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Deal Desk Analyst who will assist in managing complex sales transactions, optimizing deal structures, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and pricing guidelines.

As a Senior Deal Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales organization by managing the end-to-end deal process. This position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, Legal and Billing Operations. This in-office, non-remote role will report to the Corporate Controller and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

LOCATION: Orlando, FL

Principal Responsibilities

  • Deal Management:
  • Work closely with the sales team to review and evaluate deals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies.
  • Draft and manage contract license orders for both direct and partner sales team.
  • Analyze and structure complex deals, providing insights on pricing options, terms, deal construct alternatives and contractual agreements.
  • Contract Review:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of customer contracts, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts meet company standards and compliance requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and other teams to streamline the deal approval process and ensure timely execution of contracts.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and various internal departments to address deal-related inquiries and issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all deal-related information.
  • Generate reports and analyses to track key performance indicators, deal metrics, and other relevant data, including ARR, Recognized Revenue, Pricing and Product Mix, highlighting exceptions and discounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a deal desk environment within a high-growth SaaS company required.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, etc) and contract management tools required.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, NetSuite, and Adobe Acrobat required.
  • Expertise in complex deal structuring, particularly for software license and renewal deals, with the ability to advise on booking and revenue recognition implications required.
  • Familiarity with Accounting regulations, ASC606 rules, and revenue recognition practices & policies required.
  • Flexibility to work extended schedules during quarter-end cycles.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, enabling effective management of multiple deals simultaneously while interacting with various stakeholders in a composed manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Currently residing in Orlando Florida OR open to relocation to Orlando (relocation assistance available) for this in office non-remote position.

Depending on specific professional experience and geographical location of individuals, the salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $130,000. Additional wage/bonus/commission and benefit details will be shared during the formal interview process for this full-time employment opportunity.
