Privacy Manager

Your role A Privacy Manager to join the Privacy Team to conduct privacy reviews of Digital Realty’s business processes and vendors, to review and update data protection terms in contractual agreements, and to support the Privacy Team’s other functions as needed as a data privacy subject matter expert.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Conduct privacy risk assessments primarily as associated with our 3rd party processors (our vendors and sub-processors)
  • Document data flow diagrams
  • Review new and existing vendor contracts to ensure that all applicable data protection terms are incorporated
  • Maintain and update our ROPA (Record of Processing Activities)

 

What you’ll need

  • 2+ years of privacy related experience dealing with personal data protections and associated regulatory requirements
  • GDPR, CCPA and other global data protection regulation knowledge and experience required as it relates to data processing in a multinational environment
  • Experienced in identifying the requirement for Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and in evaluating and populating SCC annexes
  • An understanding of basic data processing technologies
  • Experience mapping data flows
  • Experience with B2B privacy policies
  • Security background 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience conducting privacy risk and impact assessments
  • Comfortable working with all level of the organization, analysts to SVPs
  • Experience with Intra-Company Data Transfer Agreements
  • CIPP certification
  • Law degree with data center industry experience are preferred

Our Compensation Philosophy

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

 

Compensation range:  $100,800 - $151,200.00 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary/hourly rate for this position at the time of this posting.
