Business/Corporate Attorney (Fully Remote)

This is a remote position.

Seeking lateral attorneys with Corporate and Business law experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with our clients to provide guidance on the legal realities that our clients and their businesses will face. The candidate would ideally posses at least 5+ years of experience of complex corporate law and be passionate about providing the best legal services in our fast-paced remote environment.

  • Assist businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues.
  • Generate new originations through networking opportunities and other lead-generation endeavors.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize business agreements.
  • Identify legal or contractual issues and develop innovative approaches to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage multiple clients, matters, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.

Advise, guide, and conduct final document reviews for Junior Associates and Law Clerks.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and contract drafting abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working with modern technology
  • Desire to practice law differently than it has been for the past hundred years.
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent business judgment and elevated level of professionalism
  • Desire to generate corporate law leads and cultivate strong client relationships

Experience requirements:

  • A book of business exceeding $250,000 annually is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in business law firm.
  • Aptitude for client development and business generation.
