Pay Range: $20 - $23/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan .

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of legal related tasks under the direct supervision of an attorney.
• Provides professional assistance and support to the legal staff in the development, research, management, and resolution of legal issues involving their business unit.
• Prepares and drafts routine legal documents, agreements and pleadings related to litigation and non-litigation matters.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Typically, one year of experience in a paralegal capacity.
• Working knowledge of paralegal concepts, procedures, and practices.
• Knowledge of operations, practices and procedures of general counsel or civil litigation.
• Knowledge of the filing requirements of relevant courts and administrative agencies.
• Must have a demonstrated knowledge in legal research and deposition motion practices as well as appellate procedures.
• Analytical,research and organizational skills.
• Ability to set work priorities that conform with established standards.
• Ability able to give presentations in both formal and informal settings.
• Strong verbal and written skills for contact with associates, attorneys, clients, and customers.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and related legal and business software and data bases.
• Undergraduate studies in business administration, insurance or other related area preferred.
• Certification in paralegal studies or equivalent experience.
