Our cleint is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Labor and Employment Counsel to join thier team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on labor and employment issues, including but not limited to, wage and hour compliance, employee benefits, unions, and workplace safety. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment issues.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
  • Represent the company in labor and employment disputes.
  • Provide training to employees and management on labor and employment issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
