Job Description

Gibbes Burton, LLC is seeking an attorney to work on complex civil litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity to assume significant responsibility and obtain hands-on experience in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Be able to track deadlines
  • Juggle multiple tasks
  • Be very detail-oriented, and
  • Possess excellent legal research and writing skills

Strong academic credentials and admission to the South Carolina bar are required.

Our attorneys have the opportunity to do things such as:

  • Interview witnesses
  • Identify and interact with experts
  • Communicate with clients
  • Develop case strategies
  • Conduct legal and other technical research
  • Prepare pleadings
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests
  • Prepare and argue motions
  • Work directly with paralegals and support staff
  • Attend and take depositions
  • Attend and participate in mediations
  • Attend and participate in trials
