Position: Corporate/In-House Attorney Location: Kennesaw, GA Duration: Full Time Salary: $125,000.00/yr. Objective: JasperINC. is seeking an attorney with knowledge of civil procedure, evidence and trial strategy to work in our Kennesaw, GA office. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, outstanding written and oral advocacy skills and strong software/technological skills. Candidates will be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage a caseload where all work is time-sensitive.

Job Duties:

  • Handles pre-litigation task and other legal assignments in accordance with guidelines established by the Legal Department
  • Handles depositions as a corporate representative
  • Prepares motions and memorandums of law
  • Prepares pleadings, discovery, demands, and responses
  • Drafts reports and provide file analysis
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Incumbents are not permitted to handle any legal business outside of the Company and candidates must cease all outside practice and all suit involvement before joining JasperINC.
  • Travels via commercial transportation or driving to job related activities

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school required
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background screening, drug screening, and have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • 3-5 years of In-House Counsel experience required
