Government Contracts Attorney (Interim)

SUMMARY Firm Advice is conducting a search for an attorney who has state and local government contracts experience. This attorney will work on a part-time basis (hours are flexible) for an extended period of time. The attorney will review and analyze state and local government contracts, creatively preparing alternative language to ensure company can comply with terms. The attorney will also handle state procurement work, reviewing RFPs and preparing responses to RFPs. This opportunity is perfect for an attorney who wants to work on a part time basis or who wants to supplement a solo practice. This project will begin as soon as the attorney with the necessary skill set is identified. Project is remote. REQUIREMENTS

  • JD and membership in at least one U.S. bar.
  • 5 plus years of state and local government contracts experience.
  • Familiarity with ensuring compliance with cyber security requirements, or ability to propose alternative solutions a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the legal aspects of a project with minimal supervision.
