Sr. Regulatory Compliance Manager, Legal *Workplace type: On-site

Job Summary: The Sr. Regulatory Compliance Manager will serve as one of the key members of the inhouse team to provide Legal support for all compliance activities at Super Micro Computer, Inc. This position will play a key role in advising on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight; and support of the Company’s wide spectrum of compliance initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Legal support to various internal compliance teams with respect to their activities that includes conducting investigations, and complying with regulatory obligations under applicable law and regulation around the world
  • These matters include providing legal counsel and advice with respect to privacy, global data protection, cybersecurity, global trade compliance, whistleblower matters, conflict minerals, regulatory investigations.
  • Provide advice on operational product, privacy and regulatory compliance programs, including supporting the creation, review, drafting, and maintaining of compliance policies and other documentation such as impact assessments and incident response plans
  • Conduct legal compliance investigations including interviews, document reviews, transcriptions and reports
  • Team with Human Resources, Internal Audit, Information Security, Compliance, and other internal departments with respect to each of the foregoing activities and ensure timely completion of compliance activities and investigations
  • Report on findings
  • Flexibility and willingness to support other needs of a small and very active inhouse Legal department as needed, which can include commercial contracting matters, intellectual property matters, and employment matters

Qualifications:

  • JD or equivalent degree required
  • 8 or more years of experience in conducting complex workplace investigations
  • Working knowledge and experience in as many of the following areas: privacy , global data protection , cybersecurity , global trade compliance , whistleblower , government contracting , antitrust , securities laws
  • Ability to learn on the job and prioritize tasks
  • Strong judgment and commitment to ethical issues
  • Detailed oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong initiative and ability to drive resolution of issues
  • Effective communication at all levels including Executive level
  • Must be flexible and willing to work on projects in other areas

Salary Range $140,000 - $150,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
