Your Team, Your Impact

The paralegal is expected to support a total of nine attorneys. Also to provide back-up support to NDA manager and contracts administrator.

 

What You Can Expect

Your Responsibilities will include the following:

  • You will manage contract template processes, including systematic reviews of templates and playbooks and incorporation of best contracting practices and provisions.
  • You will assist in the build-out and maintenance of the Commercial Transaction Group’s SharePoint site and intranet page.
  • You will compile and summarize information about various contracts, including material  contract provisions.
  • You will generate various reports based on contract summaries upon request.
  • You will interface with  Marvell business units, functional groups, and entities worldwide and administer compliance with policies and procedures that are applicable to the Commercial Transactions Group such as the Worldwide Contract Management Policy.
  • You will work on projects as necessary to support the attorneys in the Commercial Transactions Group and collaborate on cross-functional projects within the Legal organization.
  • You will support overflow work from the NDA Manager and Contracts Administrator and serve as back-up for these roles.
  • Under the supervision of an attorney, you will draft and prepare certain agreements, such as consulting and professional services agreements, evaluation agreements, amendments to agreements, and statements of work.
  • You will maintain and update databases related to the Commercial Transactions Group.
  • As applicable, you will assist with M&A projects.

 

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate.
  • You must have at least five years of relevant experience.
  • You must be comfortable with technology and have a mastery of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn and use contracts lifecycle management systems and applications, including new AI/Legal Ops tools.
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must have the ability to carefully proofread and pay close attention to detail.
  • You must have excellent organizational and record keeping skills.
  • You must be service-oriented, have a positive attitude, collaborate with others effectively, and have the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

100,840 - 151,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model in which you will be able to split time between working from home and on-site in a Marvell office.
