Lyft is looking for a Senior Specialist to join its Compliance team, which is positioned in Lyft’s Legal Department. Lyft's Compliance team is responsible for understanding, communicating, and fulfilling Lyft’s regulatory obligations.  As a Senior Specialist in our Auditing team, you will be responsible for the management and execution of external regulatory audits. This includes cross-functional work necessary to perform audits, document processes, and respond to data requests from regulators.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional partners like Lyft’s Data Analytics and Regulatory Compliance teams to manage the Compliance Audit program
  • Execute audit processes that incorporate quality assurance reviews, and then facilitate the review and transmission of audit documentation
  • Organize audit material systemically and establish internal reporting metrics for program management

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in an audit, risk, or compliance role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally organized, detail oriented, and efficient
  • Ability to multi-task effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines
  • Drive to provide accurate results as quickly as possible and continuously iterate
  • Self starter, independent and deadline driven
  • Proficiency working in a Mac environment, and specifically with Google Apps (e.g., Docs, Sheets, etc.), Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $76,500 - $85,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
