Position Overview: As a Pre-Litigation Attorney specializing in personal injury on the plaintiff side, you will play a crucial role in our legal team, focusing on the early stages of personal injury cases. You will be responsible for investigating claims, gathering evidence, negotiating with insurance companies, and working closely with clients to ensure a seamless transition into the litigation phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of potential personal injury cases, assessing liability, damages, and legal merit.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, and address their concerns.
• Investigation: Conduct investigations, including obtaining medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents to build a strong case.
• Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with insurance companies to secure favorable settlements for clients.
• Case Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed case records, ensuring compliance with legal standards and firm procedures.
• Legal Research: Stay current with laws and regulations related to personal injury to inform case strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Washington.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specializing in personal injury cases on the plaintiff side.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing parties.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
