Position Summary The Legal Administrator position will be responsible for supporting ongoing projects and initiatives by mitigating legal risk through the monitoring and tracking of various aspects of the business operations and potential issues. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Research and analysis, drafting documents, maintaining files, and effectively communicating with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing contracts and legal agreements to identify potential risks and liabilities.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis using various legal databases
  • Reviewing and summarizing legal documents and contracts
  • Conducting investigations and providing support in responding to risk-related incidents or claims to determine causes of action and provide recommendations.
  • Working closely with personnel to manage document workflows and ensure timely completion.
  • Facilitating closing business transactions and ensuring they are processed correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding legal and business matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing insurance policies and providing recommendations on coverage options
  • Drafting documents related to supporting new and ongoing projects.
  • Perform limited drafting and revisions of template-based agreements.
  • Managing and organizing a database of documents
  • Share major legal and contractual matters with Korea HQ
  • Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments that impact the organization.

Compensation Range $65,000- $75,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to think strategically and provide legal guidance in a business context to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using LexisNexis and Westlaw Required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify legal risks and propose recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of international laws and regulations.

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree is required.
  • 5 - 8Years of Experience Required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods.
  • Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
  • Lift up to 20lbs
  • Carry up to 20lbs.
  • Stand/walk.
