Conflicts Attorney (Mostly Remote)

Job Overview:

As a Conflicts Attorney, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards by identifying, analyzing, and resolving potential conflicts of interest. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conflicts resolution, risk management, and legal compliance. This position is onsite 8 days per month with the rest being remote.

Responsibilities:

Conflict Identification and Analysis:
Conduct thorough conflicts checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
Analyze conflict reports and assess potential conflicts of interest.
Risk Management:
Develop strategies to mitigate and manage conflicts of interest.
Advise on risk management measures and assist in decision-making processes.
Legal Compliance:
Stay abreast of industry regulations and legal requirements related to conflicts.
Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
Communication and Collaboration:
Liaise with attorneys, staff, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
Collaborate with various departments to facilitate conflict resolution.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive conflict records.
Prepare reports and documentation related to conflicts analysis.
