We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney with strong experience in Class Action, Wage & Hour, and/or Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases to join our dynamic legal team. This is a remote position, and the candidate must be licensed to practice law in California. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in complex employment law matters, contributing to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of class action, wage & hour, and PAGA cases.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
- Participate in client interviews and investigations.
- Support senior attorneys in court appearances and hearings.
- Assist in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing employment law with a focus on class action, wage & hour, and/or PAGA cases.
- Strong understanding of California employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
