Firm Description : Our client is a Chicago-based trial firm with extensive experience defending a broad spectrum of matters including medical malpractice, healthcare, nursing home and long-term care and transportation. They also provide healthcare counseling in an array of contexts, including staff privileging issues, compliance with state and federal laws, patient rights, contractual issues, and licensing.

Salary : $90,000 – $120,000

Position Description : Our client is looking to hire an experienced associate attorney to join its team of litigators. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of litigation experience with general case management, including drafting responsive pleadings, motions, and written discovery; attending court proceedings; and conducting depositions. A background in medical malpractice, transportation, long term care/nursing home defense and/or premises liability defense litigation is preferred. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be considered, but they must have experience in the areas noted above. Excellent communication, research and writing skills are required. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Illinois.
