Right now, we are looking for a Labor & Employment Counsel to join our Legal Team.

Reporting to the Labor & Employment Counsel Manager, you will get the chance to:

  • Work in large-scale projects globally, M&A deals and challenging deployments in new jurisdictions.

What will help you succeed:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in law firms and/or in-house roles (Labor & Employment positions)
  • Ambition to learn and grow while helping business growth.

  • Be able to hit the ground running; you will be joining an excellent and very supportive legal team, but you will certainly need to be able to manage the Labor and Employment matters locally.

  • High capacity of teamwork, not only with internal clients, but also being able to translate the external advice received into a practical result-oriented approach for Globant.

  • Have a high degree of commitment and ownership.

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enjoy thinking out of the box.

  • Discrete and low-profile behavior. Great communication skills.

  • Qualified lawyer in US/CAN.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Review and production of Legal-Labor docs
  • Assisting HR team with day to day queries across the region.

  • Coordinating with external advisors when required.

  • Assisting business teams with subcontracting schemes and management of templates and contracts for this purpose.

  • HR compliance and legal update scanning across the region.

  • Counseling on labor suits, pre-court on in-court

  • Assistance with M&A deals, integrations and business growth related actitvies.

Globant reasonably expects the annual base compensation for this role to be between $100,000 to $140,000. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus of 8.33% of the annual base compensation. Specific offer details are determined by carefully considering a variety of factors, including the candidate’s primary work location, skills, experience, education, market demands, and internal parity.
