As a Legal Assistant with Realty Income, you will join our established and expanding team of in-house legal professionals to support the operations and continuing growth of a top U.S. REIT.  A familiarity in the Microsoft Office Suite, coupled with a keen eye for detail will allow you to hit the ground running. Our legal group is expanding quickly, and we are excited for you to grow with us!

Your focus will include:      

  • Handle various requests for legal assistance and support from legal professionals in the Real Estate Acquisitions;  
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of documents and notices;  
  • Assemble documents for closing of real estate transactions;  
  • Assist with post-closing follow up and preparation of transaction reports and other interdepartmental communications;  
  • Assist with records retention and filing;  
  • Assist with invoice coding and payment;  
  • Serve as notary public.  

 

What You Need to be Successful:      

  • 4+ years of relevant or on-point legal assistant or real estate experience;  
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;  
  • Notary certificate preferred;  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word;  
  • Familiarity with Access.  

 

What you’ll get in return:

The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $26.34 - $39.93. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
