Company Description Coastal Claims, LLC is a claims service provider in New Smyrna Beach, FL. We represent homeowners and businesses to secure the best possible insurance settlement for all types of claims, including storm, water, and fire and smoke damage. Our goal is to restore our clients' properties and possessions as quickly as possible so they can get their lives back to normal.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site, In-House Counsel role at Coastal Claims, LLC in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The In-House Counsel will provide legal advice on insurance claims, interpret insurance policies, and draft and review contracts; the In-House Counsel will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and managing legal documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of insurance law and regulations
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Ability to interpret insurance policies and negotiate settlements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing legal documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • JD degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience in insurance law or litigation is a plus
