Aviture is hiring a Government and Commercial Contracts Administrator. The Government and Commercial Contracts Administrator will be responsible for managing, administering, and overseeing contracts with both government agencies and commercial entities. This role requires ensuring compliance with contractual specifications, legal requirements, and company policies, and involves working closely with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, commercial clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Contract Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of both government and commercial contracts. This includes the negotiation, preparation, review, and execution of contracts, as well as ongoing management and closeout.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all contract activities comply with relevant federal, state, local, and international regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes affecting contracts
  • Negotiation and Relationship Management: Lead negotiations of contract terms and conditions with both government agencies and commercial entities. Build and maintain strong relationships with all contractual parties.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contractual agreements. Resolve contractual disputes and manage any legal implications in coordination with the legal department.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documents and communications. Prepare and submit regular reports on contract status and compliance to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal departments such as sales, finance, legal, and operations to ensure contract terms are feasible and aligned with company capabilities and objectives.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to other staff members on contract policies and procedures. Stay informed about industry best practices in both government and commercial contract management.

Work Environment:

  • Predominantly office-based with the possibility of remote work arrangements.
  • Regular business hours with additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Some travel may be required for meetings with government agencies, commercial clients, or internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in contract management is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience in managing both government and commercial contracts.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and experience with commercial contractual standards and practices.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and contracts simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
