Legal.io is working with an innovative biotech company to find a Junior Commercial Counsel to join its Legal team. This is a fully remote, full time 40 hours per week position for a term of 5 months. The ideal candidate will be a commercial generalist, with some experience in the life sciences space.

What You’ll Do:

• Work on master level contracts with customers in the biotech space, universities and hospitals.
• Draft, redline, and negotiate SaaS, automation supplier, master supplier, purchase order, and related supply chain agreements, among others
• Work collaboratively with the paralegal team and act as an escalation point
• The workload will include new projects, as well as taking over existing contract negotiations that are in progress.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. & member of at least one Bar with good standing
• 2-5+ years of experience with commercial contracts
• Life sciences experience would be helpful, but is not required

Role Details:

• Anticipated Start Date : Immediately (February Start Date)
• Schedule : 40hrs/week
• Duration : 5 months (until the end of June 2024)
• Location : REMOTE
• Hourly pay : $65-85 per hour (annualizes to $130k-$170k) + full benefits (vision, medical & dental, 99% covered)
