The Role: It's an exciting time to join Yubico, where the company recently completed its IPO on Nasdaq First North and now plans to further strengthen its position as a global cybersecurity company. The Yubico Legal department is now looking for a talented individual to join this growing team to allow for continued timely provision of effective and high quality legal support for our business as we continue to scale. As a Contracts Specialist, under the guidance of legal counsel, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of commercial contracts for our internal business partners and providing administrative support for the Yubico Legal Team. The successful candidate must work well in a fast paced environment, become an enthusiastic part of a collaborative team, and care for the company, its mission and its people. This role will report into the legal department but a law degree is not required.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to, non disclosure agreements, marketing contracts, sales contracts, and supplier agreements
  • Evaluate contract terms, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain templates and playbooks and assist with escalations in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Manage approvals, tracking statuses, communicating with stakeholders and securing sign-off of final agreements
  • Manage contract documentation, organize records, and ensure accurate and timely contract administration.
  • Conducting legal research
  • Project managing the onboarding of new legal tools and systems
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements and enhancements that meet business requirements
  • Communicate daily with cross functional teams including Sales, Legal, Operations and Finance on assigned deals

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contract negotiation
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic signature (i.e. DocuSign, Adobe Sign etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

$85,000 - $110,000 semi monthly

Yubico offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work. The expected total compensation for this position will range from $85,000 to $110,000 including bonus & full benefits. Actual compensation will be based on a number of factors, including location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges are US applicable only.

Retirement plan. Our retirement plan includes a 401K dollar per dollar match up to 6% with a cap of $6K/year. Immediate vesting.

Learning and development. We encourage your professional growth and offer a yearly development stipend of $3,000 and mentorship program.
