Job Title: Wills, Trusts, and Estates Attorney Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wills, Trusts, and Estates Attorney with 3-5 years of practice in the field. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about assisting clients in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related litigation. While having an existing book of business is preferred, it is not a prerequisite for this role. Key Responsibilities: · Estate Planning: Concentrate your practice on comprehensive estate planning, helping clients achieve their personal goals, particularly in minimizing the impact of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes on intra-family wealth transfers. Document Preparation and Advice: Regularly draft and advise clients on critical documents including wills, trust agreements, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and other necessary instruments to fulfill their estate planning objectives. Estate and Trust Administration: Handle the administration of estates and trusts, providing expert guidance through the process and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. Litigation: Engage in litigation related to estates and trusts as necessary, representing clients' interests in legal proceedings. Probate Proceedings: Manage probate proceedings, including drafting legal documents and representing clients in probate court. Qualifications: · Professional Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience specializing in wills, trusts, and estates. Educational Requirement: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Licensure: Admission to the Bar in the state of practice. Skills: Strong drafting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a detailed understanding of estate planning, trust, and probate laws.
