Growing boutique law firm seeks an experienced attorney for its commercial law practice involving a range of corporate matters, including: mergers, acquisitions, and related corporate transactions; corporate governance and shareholder disputes; and the negotiation and review of commercial contracts.

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial attorney who wants to grow and develop their practice. We offer training, mentorship and significant experience in a friendly and flexible work environment. This opportunity includes both on-site and remote working.

In addition to strong academic, research, and writing credentials, applicants should have and be able to demonstrate comfort and proficiency with all aspects of office technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work well as part of a team. NJ bar admission required, and NY bar admissionis preferred.

Responsibilities - Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues - Draft legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, and ancilliary documents - Negotiate agreements on behalf of clients - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Qualifications - Must have current experience in commercial law - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Must be admitted to practice law in New Jersey (& New York preferred) - Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures - Proficient in legal drafting and writing skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
