Our Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as the primary support to our General Counsel for our worldwide business. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will provide efficient, effective and commercially minded legal counsel in an effort to minimize risk and ensure a robust compliance regime.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate major and/or non-standard technology contracts with public and private sector customers, including licensing agreements and professional services Agreements for enterprise customers
  • Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio and preserve corporate records
  • Assist General Counsel with managing the internal legal team as well as outside counsel as necessary
  • Identify legal and commercial risks and issues and assist with the development of solutions
  • Keep up to date on changes to legislation, regulation, and relevant legal topics across multiple jurisdictions
  • Work on ad hoc legal projects, including but not limited to, new policies, templates and procedures, and other corporate legal regulatory matters
  • Serve as primary back up to General Counsel for various legal matters both internal and external

What You'll Bring to Numerator

Skills & Other Requirements

  • Member in good standing of a US state bar
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 3+ years combined experience at a leading law firm and in industry
  • Solid understanding of corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law and contractual principles and experience drafting and negotiating technology-related subscription agreements for cloud-based offerings
  • Solid understanding of information security compliance
  • Flexible, positive, and well-organized team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced software and technology environment
  • Ability and desire to work independently and with little oversight
  • Outstanding work and academic record
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present ideas and results to diverse business and technical audiences
