Round Hill Search has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a dynamic team of attorneys in an established and progressive family law firm on the Westside of LA. The firm is well known as a leader in the family law arena. It handles all aspects of family law, including complex marital dissolutions, the division of high-net-worth estates, high-conflict custody matters, etc. Their clients are generally high-net-worth individuals seeking unparalleled expertise and a highly energetic yet sophisticated approach to their delicate issues. The firm, in turn, is looking for attorneys with excellent experience and the ability to work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Offer expert legal advice to clients on various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, child support, and alimony.
• Oversee and manage a caseload of family law cases, handling all aspects from initial consultation to resolution.
• Engage in negotiation processes and facilitate mediation sessions to achieve amicable settlements and resolutions in clients' best interest.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting legal arguments, examining witnesses, and advocating for fair and just outcomes.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
• Advocate for the rights and interests of clients, particularly in matters involving children, and ensure that their well-being is prioritized.
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive guidance to clients, explaining legal options and potential outcomes and navigating emotional aspects of family law cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, case law, and precedents to support legal strategies and arguments.
• Work collaboratively with legal colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to address the multifaceted aspects of family law cases.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California.
• Proven experience as a family law attorney, with expertise in divorce, child custody, and related matters.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills to facilitate positive outcomes for clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective representation and client interaction.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients facing emotionally charged family situations.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Collaborative mindset with effective teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to navigate family law cases' unique challenges and dynamics.

Salary

$200,000 -$250,000, DOE
