The Legal Administrative professional is responsible for day to day operations in the firm including:

  • speaking with new clients and scheduling consultations
  • effective client relationship management (telephone, email, letters)
  • monthly client billing & accounts receivable
  • oversee vendor accounts payable, obtain competitive quotes, order supplies
  • maintain organized electronic client records
  • assist with researching deeds, court docket, e-filing.

Candidates must have:

  • 2+ years minimum law office experience.
  • Minimum Associate's Degree or Legal Administrative Assistant certificate.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word Perfect. Experience with law practice management (Time Matters) and billing software (TimeSlips) a plus.
  • Team player.
  • Friendly and patient personality, good listener.
  • Effectively multi-task. Receptive to learning.
  • Successfully work independently and prioritize.
  • Willing to learn a new area of law and successfully communicate the benefits of our services to new clients.
