Responsibilities

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the government arena? Arcfield's intern program is designed to provide college students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on work experience in a professional environment. We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated intern to join Arcfield’s legal team. In this role, you will be under direct supervision of our legal / business enablement department, performing a variety of hands-on tasks and assignments related to contracts, procurement, export, and compliance matters. As a legal intern you will provide valuable support to Arcfield’s experienced legal / business enablement professionals who will work with you to determine your desired career path and guide you through the necessary steps to achieve your goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Helping maintain export compliance records
  • Assisting with contracts electronics records entry
  • Pulling together POs and running an RFP to pull that together to leverage the spend data and centralize
  • Contract closeout prep
  • Assist with projects, including conducting legal research and drafting presentations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, revising and providing commentary on contracts, corporate forms, policies and procedures
  • Staying informed about changes in laws and regulations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be actively pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited university
  • High School level plus some advanced training
  • Available to work the duration of the ten weeks and commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred:

  • A rising junior or senior
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
