Job Title: M &A Associate Attorney – Renewable Energy

Our client is a distinguished firm specializing in Renewable Energy. As an in-house M&A Associate Attorney, you will provide your expertise in navigating complex legal landscapes within the renewable energy sector.

Salary : $130k - $135k Location : Washington D.C.

What you'll do : Legal Counsel :

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance on M&A transactions within the renewable energy sector
• Draft, review and negotiate a range of M&A documents, including agreements, security documents and financing agreements

Regulatory Expertise :

• Ensure compliance with all pertinent legal and regulatory requirements in the renewable energy industry
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations impacting M&A and provide strategic advice on compliance

Risk Management:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to M&A transactions and formulate strategies to mitigate legal risks

Collaborative Approach :

• Collaborate closely with internal legal teams and other departments, including finance, project development and engineering, to provide integrated legal solutions

About You :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the bar in Washington D.C., Maryland or Virginia
• M&A experience within the renewable energy sector
• 3+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney, specializing in M&A within the renewable energy sector
• In-depth understanding of financing structures, tax equity and regulatory frameworks specific to renewable energy
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and analytical skills
