Position Summary

  • This position follows a hybrid model of three days onsite and two days from home per week

The Information Governance and Privacy Assurance Manager will lead work to help implement, maintain, and ensure continued adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the use, access to, and disclosure of competitively sensitive information, protected health information and personally identifiable information (collectively “Confidential Information”) in compliance with our best practices and policies, obligations under several regulatory orders and our commitments to clients, customers, and regulators.

This individual will help consult on, and audit the design and implementation of data solutions to ensure compliance with the commitments we have made to regulators as well as customers and clients with respect to the internal use and disclosure of Confidential Information. These obligations are applicable to CVS Health corporate and all business segments (including Front Store, Retail Pharmacy, PBM Mail, Specialty, Care Plus, Coram, Omnicare, Minute Clinic, SilverScript, Medicare D, Aetna, etc.). This position will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional leaders across the enterprise, including IT, Internal Audit, Legal, Digital, Information Security, Finance, and Human Resources.

The role includes auditing approaches for enterprise CVS Health to ensure that there are adequate Information Governance and Privacy Operations procedures, controls, policies, systems, training, and communications to ensure compliance with our privacy, information governance, and firewall commitments. A function of this role will be to help support, consult on, and audit the design and implementation of new firewall business unit implementation standards created to govern the flow of data and information between CVS Health business units as those teams use data to help transform health care. In addition, this role will be responsible for continuing to support, consult on, and audit processes designed to ensure we are in compliance with firewall implementation standards that apply to legacy CVS Health business units.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience

Ability to travel up to 5%

  • Must be comfortable with being empowered to make difficult decisions that potentially impact business project direction.
  • Knowledge of privacy, security, and data governance standards and commitments applicable to CVS Health and its various business segments, and the ability to analyze.
  • Must be able to lead internal work teams to resolution addressing privacy issues and successful resolution.
  • Must be able to prioritize appropriately, and multi-task on high priority and high impact projects.
  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
