Direct Counsel is currently seeking a talented and motivated Class Action Mid-Level Associate to join a top law firm in any of their US offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will demonstrate superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket. Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred. This position is open to candidates in New York, Atlanta, Austin, D.C., Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, LA, Miami, Minneapolis, Palo Alto, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Litigation Group on a diverse range of legal matters, with a focus on class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and draft legal documents.
• Manage and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective legal solutions.
• Communicate with clients and provide strategic legal advice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.
• Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred.
• Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
• Previous federal clerkship is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $250,000 – $295,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
