My client are a very well-established leading defendant insurance firm, with a highly regarded successful medical malpractice department. Due to recent influx in work demands, the firm are expanding their team and looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney to join their team based in NYC.

Within the role you will be expected to manage a diverse caseload of medical malpractice matters varying in complexity, from inception through to resolution. The cases will predominantly be litigation focussed and so prior litigation experience is essential. The role will be very challenging, yet extremely rewarding offering you the opportunity to work alongside a team of supportive and highly experienced professionals on high-quality, high-value medical malpractice defense matters.

The ideal candidate will be a member of the NY Bar Association with a JD from an accredited law school. You will also have at least 2+ years experience working within a medical malpractice department, with exposure to litigated cases. Aside from the above, you will be a driven and motivated individual with passion for working in a defendant medical malpractice department. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to defend and negotiate settlements on behalf of your clients.

The firm are offering an excellent salary, commensurate with experience of $150,000 + alongside a generous benefits package including 401k, generous PTO and health insurance.
