Responsibilities:

1. Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings.
2. Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of claims to develop effective defense strategies.
3. Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in litigation to provide updates on case status and strategy.
4. Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary to advocate for clients' interests and negotiate settlements.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing insurance defense law, with a strong background in handling personal injury, property damage, and workers' compensation cases.
4. Demonstrated litigation skills, including experience conducting trials, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
