OUR FIRM: We, Ressler & Tesh PLLC, are an established and respected plaintiff personal injury firm located in Issaquah, Washington. We are a high-energy, fast-paced law firm that focuses on advocating on behalf of clients in the areas of childhood sexual abuse, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Including but not limited to:

• Drafting complaints
• Drafting discovery
• Drafting motions
• Discovery and record review
• Conduct legal research
• Interview clients and witnesses as necessary
• Conduct depositions
• Prepare and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for trial

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed to practice in the State of Washington
• 5 years’ experience in the practice of law, preferably in personal injury
• Civil litigation and trial experience
• Preferred judicial clerkship/externship
• Strong legal writing ability and experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to understand, analyze, interpret and convey complex information and concepts
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

WORKING CONDITIONS/SCHEDULE:

• General office environment
• Work schedule is not specified but must be available Monday to Friday during business hours 8:30am to 5pm with flexibility to be available evenings and weekends
• Potential for this position to be hybrid

SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Please note this is a general description of the salary and benefits.

• Salary range for this exempt Senior Associate position: $150,000 to $200,000
• This Senior Associate position is eligible for significant bonuses payable in each calendar year. Bonuses are awarded based on performance and vary by attorney
