Minneapolis–Saint Paul, Wisconsin

Securian Financial is seeking a skilled, high-impact attorney looking for their next opportunity in the insurance industry. If you are interested in providing a wide variety of legal services in one (or more) specialized areas of insurance law to assist in the achievement of department objectives, this is the opportunity for you!

You will play a key role in providing legal advice to Individual Financial Solutions at Securian, focusing primarily on individual life insurance (but also will provide support to our group variable universal life insurance) product administration, taxation, and design while balancing business-oriented goals with legal risk. You'd represent Securian to internal and external customers, distribution channels, and government agencies. In addition, this position will also include developing company policy and providing legal advice on a variety of legal and regulatory issues related to insurance and other enterprise issues. When working in our offices at least two days per week isn't feasible (vacations, illness, travel, etc.), an eight day per month standard is an option.
