Summary

As Senior Counsel you will have the opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert working on online safety legal, regulatory, and policy issues impacting Apple’s business and products across the globe. You will work directly with business and functional teams to develop innovative approaches to legal, regulatory, and policy issues.
Key Qualifications

  • Extensive experience counseling on online safety legal issues, either in the private sector, with non-governmental organizations, or in government.
  • Familiarity with global online safety regulatory regimes.
  • Familiarity with child safety and privacy laws.
  • Experience working with regulators, legislators, and policymakers.
  • Experience working with NGOs, civil society, and industry trade associations.
  • Experience working at the intersection of safety, security, privacy, and technology.
  • Self-motivated and solution driven.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and perform under pressure.
Description

Serve as a subject matter expert on global legal obligations related to online safety laws and regulations.
Engage with regulators and lawmakers to communicate Apple’s approach to online safety issues.
Work with internal teams to develop and implement global policies relating to online safety.
Coordinate compliance efforts with various online safety laws and regulations across multiple products and services.
Collaborate with members of the Legal and Global Security team, Government Affairs, Public Relations, Product Marketing, and others on online safety matters.
 
Education & Experience

JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $217,300.00 and $326,700.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
