About The Role
The Ads & Marketing Legal team partners with Uber's fast growing Advertising Business to take on novel challenges, offering strategic counsel to Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams; and partners with Uber's Marketing & Business Partnerships organizations to advise on Marketing Campaigns, Digital Media, Consumer Protection, Strategic Partnerships, and Marketing Law issues.
We are looking for an exceptional lawyer to be the go-to for Alcohol, Grocery, and Retail issues on the Marketing Legal team. Someone with experience in state-by-state alcohol promotions and offers, issues with liquor stores, grocery stores, and on-premises establishments, advertising campaigns by alcohol retailers, suppliers and distributors, activations across multiple media, and negotiating partnership and sponsorship agreements as well as an overall solid foundation in Marketing & Advertising law and FTC guidelines.
In addition to the alcohol work, you'll also work with the leader of the Delivery Marketing Legal team to work on other areas of Marketing law within Uber Eats, such as Restaurant food delivery, Grocery, and Retail.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
