Robert Half Legal has partnered with one of the world's largest debt collection agency's on a VP Chief Risk and Compliance Officer role. The company has been around for over 65 years and their mission is to create pathways to economic freedom. The VP Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO) is responsible for overseeing and managing the Compliance Management System, including advising the operations on executing their First Line of Defense programs. The role will have heavy interaction with regulators and this is a high level position within the company. The VP CRCO will actively engage with the company’s Board of Directors and executive leadership, providing guidance, direction and subject matter expertise in the areas of Compliance and Risk Management. This role is balanced between day-to-day high-level operational execution and proactive development of strategic direction (40% Strategic / 40% Tactical / 20% Transactional). The VP CRCO is also responsible for supervising, developing and mentoring Risk and Compliance staff, as well as coaching, mentoring and advising all of the leadership on compliance and risk concepts and practices.

• Master's or Advanced Education
• 10+ years of experience developing compliance programs and frameworks in multiple areas including FDCPA, FCRA, SCRA, GLB, ECOA, EFTA and Data Security and Privacy, particularly as applied to debt servicing and collections.
• Subject matter expertise in all areas of collections, lending and consumer protection laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent will be required
