Your Responsibilities

As a Global Privacy & Records Process Analyst for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, Chicago, IL or Urbandale/Des Moines/Johnston, IA you will...

  • Conduct Privacy Impact and Risk Assessments, and recommend controls, to design privacy into business processes and manage privacy risks.
  • Provide ongoing privacy support and guidance to business owners based on Privacy by Design principles.
  • Support the tactical execution of the Privacy by Design process.
  • Collaborate with privacy, legal, IT, and other business colleagues to ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and requirements.

What Skills You Need

  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Prior experience supporting business owners on privacy related topics.
  • Ability to manage risk in ambiguous and complex situations.
  • Proficiency in project management. 

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Professional certification in privacy (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, CIPT).
  • Experience with comprehensive privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent).
  • OneTrust or similar expertise.
  • Familiarity with information governance standards, such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Privacy or Cybersecurity Frameworks.

 

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's or applicable degree level.
  • Privacy or equivalent experience.
