Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Bid / Contracting experience. (Preferred but not required)
  • Experience in Lifecycle Management, proposal development, project management, and external customer communications.
  • Proficiency with contract and proposal management tools, such as Contract Room, SAP, Salesforce, and Basecamp.
  • Expereince in Excel is a plus!

Job Summary

Leads a team focused on the development of customer contracts, renewals, and other legal documents. Collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Manages the life cycle for all customer-facing contracts and bids, including drafting, editing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and bids.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate movement of bids and contracts throughout the contract life cycle.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all contract- and bid-related issues for assigned verticals.
  • Provides direct reports with clear, regular, and actionable feedback and support on contracting issues.
  • Influences and educates stakeholders and leadership on contracting goals.
  • Partners with other contract managers to identify process improvement opportunities and develop new processes and standard operating procedures to improve the contracting and bids experience.
  • Works on strategic projects in support of departmental goals.

  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
