Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Contract Management Specialist within the E-7 program, based out of Tukwila, WA .

Position Responsibilities:

• Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
• Leads the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the business
• Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers
• Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company
• Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines
• Summarizes complex contractual issues, and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
• Leads, trains and mentors growing contracts teammates
• Utilizes strong time management skills and ability to work multiple projects at once
• Exhibits extraordinary communication and presentation skill
• Exercises knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
• Resolves complex contract and customer issues during all phases of the contract, embracing ingenuity and an innovative mindset
• Represents Boeing to external customers, including United States Government (USG) and international customers

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
• 5+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• 3+ years of experience or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
• 3+ years of experience with development and production contracting
• 3+ years of experience with international contracting (e.g. Foreign Military Sales)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $107,100 - $144,900
