Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a highly motivated Associate Contract Management Specialist within the E-7 program, based out of Tukwila, WA .

The Boeing E-7 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) is a combat-proven force multiplier that provides unparalleled abilities to scan the skies, communicate with surface, ground and air assets and enable integration across the joint force. Position Responsibilities:

  • Exercises appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
  • Supports presentation of business solutions to preserve and expand the business
  • Represents the company and supports external negotiations to a diverse set of customers
  • Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company
  • Coordinates with other internal functional disciplines
  • Summarizes contractual issues, supports development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
  • Researches Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), intellectual property terms and other Terms and Conditions to advise cross-functional teammates
  • Utilizes strong time management skills and ability to work multiple projects at once
  • Exhibits strong communication and presentation skills

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 1+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
  • Experience with development and production contracting
  • Experience with international contracting (e.g. Foreign Military Sales)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $72,250 - $97,750
