POSITION SUMMARY:

RoadSafe is seeking a well-organized, reliable and highly motivated Corporate Paralegal to work with the Legal Department and Corporate Office on various corporate and legal tasks.

Under the guidance of the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel, the Corporate

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all aspects of document compilation, discovery, and response to requests for production and subpoenas.
  • Perform contract review and assist with management and implementation of contract management software
  • Assist with the claims handling process both for 1st party and 3rd party property damage, general and auto liability claims.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Assist with collections and accounts receivable including the preparation of payment bond and surety claims.
  • Clerical and secretarial support as needed for the Legal Department.
  • Remaining knowledgeable and up to date on the current laws, rules and regulations relevant to the company.
  • Assist in applying necessary changes to contracts and corporate policies to remain compliant in all States that we operate in.
  • Maintaining and renewing the business and contractor’s licenses.
  • Supporting the company's legal team throughout merger and acquisition activities.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 Years of experience as a corporate paralegal is preferred.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work in a high pressure fast paced environment.
  • Problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal, project management and organizational skills.
