Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Corporate Attorney to join our team

Rapidly expanding national company has immediate opening in Birmingham Inverness-area headquarters or Nashville office for a Corporate/Healthcare Attorney. We are seeking a polished professional with at least three years of legal practice experience, including at least two years of transactional (non-litigation) or in-house corporate experience (with preference given to candidates with mergers and acquisition and/or healthcare experience). The ideal candidate will have experience drafting, editing, preparing, proofreading, and manipulating contracts, corporate filings/governance documents, a high level of attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and advanced computer skills including MS Word, Adobe, Outlook and other Office Suite programs. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, to work effectively under pressure, to solve problems with initiative and attention to detail, and to prioritize multiple tasks with enthusiasm and a positive attitude while meeting critical deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS{{:}}

  • Juris doctorate degree with distinguished academic credentials
  • Licensed in the State of Alabama or Tennessee and in good standing with the Alabama or Tennessee Bar
  • Three years of legal practice experience including corporate/transactional experience preferred
