Overview:
The MoneyLion’s Summer Internship is a 10-week program that kicks off in June, 2024. The program provides selected candidates the opportunity to explore what it's like to work at a leading Fintech organization.
During your internship at MoneyLion, you will engage in projects that have a direct influence on our business operations, gain exposure to seasoned industry professionals, and enhance your skill set for professional growth. This full-time role requires your presence at our New York City office four days a week
About the Role
Legal and Compliance Intern will work under supervision of the legal team on a variety of legal matters which may include: reviewing contracts, organizing files, and conducting research. This role will assist the company with tasks and projects defined by various team members, such as research, reviews and working closely with members of the legal team and other teams to learn more about MoneyLion.
We’re looking for someone who loves to talk about finance, loves to learn, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and help draft legal memos
- Assist legal team with preparation and negotiation of contracts, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents
- Review and track updates to relevant laws and regulations
- Assist with review of product and marketing materials
- Organize and manage legal department files
- Perform other tasks as requested by members of the legal team
About You
- Applicants must be first- or second-year law students in good standing for the degree of J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, research, and time management skills
- Grace under pressure and good judgment in sensitive situations
- Mastery of Google Suite products
- In-office NYC
The base hourly salary for this position is $20.00.
