Legal.io is working with a prominent fintech and crypto company looking for an experienced litigation counsel to work on a substantive document review project on a contractual basis.

This is a full-time (40hr/wks) project with an initial term of 4 - 8 weeks, and the potential to extend beyond that.

The candidate must know Relativity.

The Role Will Involve

  • Independently handle second-level review of substantive documents and provide thematic updates to greater in-house legal team;
  • Accurately tag documents in correspondence with the company's established themes;
  • General litigation strategizing, as needed.
  • This person will bring a litigator's mind. Flexible on years of experience, but this person has to bring a familiarity of these types of projects and the tagging system.
  • The Client has completed phase 1 of this project and this person will be supporting phase 2.
  • There is a level of complexity in terms of tagging due to overlapping subjects
  • The Client will train this individual to get them familiar with the matters, what they should be looking for & the process in Relativity.
  • Team will conduct weekly check-ins to call out anything out of the norm or anything to be on the lookout for

About You

  • Active License to practice in any State
  • Direct experience with all aspects of litigation, including document review and e-discovery
  • Experience with Relativity is strongly preferred

  • Pay : $80 - $100 / hour (annualized at $160k - $200k)
